Florida cashier charged with theft

A Florida man has been arrested and charged with theft connected with his work at a prominent supermarket chain. Official charges include fraud and grand theft. He is accused of making fraudulent returns and activating Visa gift cards, pocketing cash as a result. He is said to have made at least 18 such transactions, totaling more than $800 in value. The activity is reported to have been ongoing since late March.

Florida could be one of the states considering implementing the new recommendations by the National Transportation Safety Board to reduce the legal limit on blood alcohol content necessary to charge a driver with DUI. Cops claim to have arrested Florida pot dealers

After an investigation that took six months, the Sarasota Police Department said that it arrested two males accused of selling marijuana. The men, a 66-year-old and a 38-year-old, face drug charges of cannabis possession with intent to sell. Additionally, one was charged with transporting drug paraphernalia.

Miami football player faces drug charges

On April 19, a University of Miami linebacker was arrested for possession of marijuana. It is alleged that he possessed more than 20 grams of the drug, which means that the criminal charge will be prosecuted as a felony. The man was also charged with resisting arrest although documents state that he did not use violence. He was held pending payment of bail in the amount of $6,000.
