After serving a warrant, police have arrested three members of a family living on Stock Island on drug charges. A 23-year-old Florida man has received several drug charges following a traffic stop in Okeechobee. According to reports, the man was previously convicted of drug possession charges two times in 2012. The latest incident resulted in charges for felony trafficking in methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license. The man has been detained at Okeechobee County Jail on $103,000 bond.
A Florida youth football coach is facing serious charges after being caught with marijuana. The 33-year-old man was taken into custody on Dec. 19 and is now facing drug charges. Police in Tampa say they intercepted a package containing approximately 6 pounds of marijuana intended for the suspect, who lives in the 3000 block of 38th street in the Leigh Acres.
A 30-year-old Florida man faces multiple charges after being pulled over while riding his All Terrain Vehicle, or ATV. During the incident, a detective allegedly found him to be in possession of several illegal items. According to the detective's report, the man was found to be carrying a weapon, a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
A Florida woman is facing two sets of drug charges after being arrested and taken to jail for drug possession and trying to smuggle drug contraband into the jail. According to police, the woman was found to have two crack pipes in her genitals and failed to inform the arresting officers or jail staff about them. The 41-year-old woman was in the passenger seat of a car during a traffic stop on July 10 when the police searched the car and found a cigar wrapper filled with marijuana in her seat. When she was searched, the officers found a crack pipe in her purse.
Two Florida individuals have been taken into custody after being pulled over during a traffic stop after an officer noticed that one of the vehicle's headlights was out. According to reports, the men were eventually arrested for drug possession.
