Nevada estate planning includes many choices

Father's day is a time for napping, watching sports and bonding with Dad for many people in Nevada. It may also be a good time to discuss the estate planning process, says one recent report. This is because many find that their older parents have not properly prepared for their deaths.

Florida man sentenced in fatal drunk driving case

A Florida man was sentenced to 8 years in prison for a drunk driving accident that caused the death of an 80-year-old woman. The accident occurred when the man failed to break before he turned his F-150 truck into a Ford Focus in which the woman was a passenger. The woman was rushed to local hospital where she died two days later due to multiple blunt force traumas.

Two Florida residents arrested for drug-related crimes

Two Florida individuals have been taken into custody after being pulled over during a traffic stop after an officer noticed that one of the vehicle's headlights was out. According to reports, the men were eventually arrested for drug possession.

Nevada estate planning should include digital world

Facebook, PayPal, Google and other digital accounts may all be familiar to readers in Nevada. What may not be as familiar is the need to include the existence of these types of accounts in estate planning documents. This is because of the ever-growing digital world that may be storing important information and valuable assets.

Florida man faces charges following theft of battery

According to police, a Miramar man was found in a white van containing burglary tools and 15 car and truck batteries. He had allegedly been seen driving around a closed industrial park in Pompano Beach. He is facing a grand theft charge as a result of the discovery. Detectives stated that there have been several battery thefts around the Pompano Beach area since early May.

Nevada estate planning important regardless of wealth or age

Many readers in Nevada know that the federal estate tax exemption has been made permanent at a fairly significant level. This, they believe, means that they do not need to begin estate planning until much later in life. What they do not realize is that there are estate planning benefits to all of those of us in our state, regardless of our age or wealth.
