Adrian Torna was born in Tampa, Florida as the first generation of Cuban immigrants. He graduated from Saint Leo University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He would later obtain his Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law.
During law school Adrian established a hands-on in the trenches approach of learning and applied his skills in several different legal topics and projects. Throughout his law school career, Adrian would go on and work for the City of Tampa’s Office of Legal Counsel, Gulf Coast Legal Services, and the State Attorney’s Office in Hillsborough County.
After passing the bar Adrian became an Assistant State Attorney for Pinellas and Pasco County. As a prosecutor, Adrian acquired extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system and trial practice. He handled thousands of cases ranging from vehicular homicide, attempted murder, drug trafficking, and white-collar crimes.
Adrian is also fluent in Spanish.
