Drug Trafficking
Drug trafficking is the possession, sale, transportation, manufacture or delivery of a specified quantity of a controlled substance or illegal drug.
In Florida, all trafficking charges are first-degree felonies punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
Trafficking charges are significant in that a conviction may result in substantial minimum/mandatory prison sentences and fines.

Under both federal law and the laws of Florida and other states, specific statutes describe acts that constitute trafficking and conspiracy to traffic. Conspiracy is an agreement to commit a crime or to cause that crime to be committed by one of the co-conspirators or another person.
